Day 1 (8th July 2025) – Engineering 5 (E5)

The Workshops and Doctoral Consortium will be held in Engineering 5 (E5), one of the largest academic buildings on campus, home to the Faculty of Engineering. E5 is centrally located and easily accessible via ION light rail (UW Station) and GRT buses.

Days 2 and 3 (9th and 10th July 2025) - Engineering 7 (E7)

  • Main plenary sessions (keynote, tutorials, papers, provocations) will be held in The Faculty Hall, 7th floor of E7 -- this is a 120 capacity auditorium with comfortable seating and individual tables. The Hall is fully accessible.
  • Coffee breaks, lunches, posters, and demos will be held in the Event Space on the 2nd floor of E7, a large open-space area in the indoor atrium between E5 and E7

Conference Banquet (9th July 2025) – Federation Hall

The CUI ’25 Reception will be held at Federation Hall on July 9th. Located on campus, the venue offers a relaxed setting, perfect for networking and enjoying a summer evening in Waterloo.
